The SHELL MOULDING PROCESS consists in casting liquid metal inside shells with possible internal cores, both formed with sands treated and coated with thermosetting resins.

R&D
Perucchini constantly performs tests on different materials aimed at their evolution. Tests are carried out with a dedicated furnace and a specific pouring line. R&D constantly supports production for the continuous improvement of process standards. The study of complex cores allows obtaining highly technological castings. The toolings, in cast iron or steel, owned by the customer, are designed internally. Perucchini regularly co-designs with customers. So as to produce "tailor made" components that fully meet market needs.

Perucchini is equipped with an advanced software for the pouring simulation allowing:
