Dec. 26, 2012 Absolute Machine Tools is offering the TMT-2000T3Y2 turning center from Tongtai Machine & Tool Co., Ltd. Engineered to turn high-volume complex parts from bar stock, the machine features a 20 HP main spindle, 25 HP sub-spindle and three servo-driven turrets (two upper and one lower), with BMT-65 live tools. Workpiece capacity dimensions include swing over the machine bed/front cover of 28.3" (1,415 mm), swing over the carriage of 12.2" (305 mm) and maximum turning diameter of 12.6" (315 mm).
